Default Pokerstars GUI crashes while scanning

Hello,

After the update to RC3 a problem occured and maybe you can help me.

When i click scan Tables the Pokerstars GUI crashes and i have to close the lobby.

After i close the pokerstars Lobby there happens this Tablescan error:
PokerStars: Error injecting in target: STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR: C++ completion routine has returned success but didn't raise the remote event. (Code: 255)

But i think this error occurs cause the lobby is closed so the problem must be somewhere else i guess to fix the crash of the Pokerstars GUi

I have the newest version of pokerstars RC3 and windows 7.

This problem occured only after the tablescan update. The speed fix bevor worked well.

Thanks,

scookie

Ok, I'm adding the option "Use OCR to read playerlist" into the software, which will use the method in the previous "quick fix" as you called it. I'll send you an email when it's ready (tonight). But, the new method really is much better, if you want to try a few things to get it working. My main suggestion would be, turn off UAC and do not run tablescan as administrator, and see if that has any effect

Ok, I think I may have figured out the problem here, just now I was on teamviewer with lonnegan, the only other person who has contacted me with this exact same problem, and we fixed it!

Here was the problem

Right click the TableScan icon, go to Properties, then Compatibility. He had it set to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP 2. We turned off the compatibility mode, and it worked instantly. Please let me know if this is the case for you. And send me a message on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Skype if not, I think we should try to fix the problem you are having, before I resort to just giving you a workaround which is not as good
